PURPOSE OF THE JOB:

To execute and coordinate the core operational processes of Human Resources at Citizen Church, ensuring consistency, accuracy, and care throughout the employee lifecycle. This role supports hiring coordination, onboarding and offboarding execution, HR systems management, and performance process tracking, helping maintain a healthy, mission-aligned staff culture.

II.     DUTIES:

  • Hiring Process Coordination & Employee Lifecycle Execution
    • Coordinate posting and closing of open positions in BambooHR
    • Partner with hiring managers to track candidate pipelines and determine interview progression
    • Schedule and coordinate interviews with candidates and internal teams
    • Administer Predictive Index assessments and coordinate interpretation sessions
    • Facilitate onboarding logistics including documentation, orientation scheduling, and system setup
    • Ensure all required new hire documentation is complete and archived
    • Execute consistent offboarding procedures including system updates and documentation
    • Process employment verifications, unemployment claims, and external HR inquiries
    • Maintain lifecycle checklists to ensure consistency across campuses
  • HR Operations, Systems & Administrative Execution
    • Maintain accurate electronic employee files including job descriptions, SMART goals, career tiers, compensation documentation, and required forms
    • Administer BambooHR including time-off routing, system updates, and reporting
    • Update holiday schedules and blackout dates in BambooHR and Outlook calendars and communicate to staff
    • Conduct routine audits of employee records to ensure documentation compliance
    • Support payroll accuracy by ensuring personnel changes are properly reflected in systems
    • Generate HR data reports for leadership review
    • Coordinate logistics for open enrollment and benefits meetings
    • Maintain updated benefits documentation and staff access to resources
    • Assist with policy acknowledgment tracking and documentation management
    • Identify opportunities to improve administrative workflows and reduce manual errors
  • Employee Development & Performance Process Support
    • Coordinate performance review cycles including scheduling, reminders, and tracking
    • Maintain accurate records of completed reviews and feedback documentation
    • Support Manager Trainings and Staff Development Days through scheduling and logistics
    • Track participation and completion of required trainings
    • Assist HR Leadership in monitoring staff development documentation alignment
  • HR Team Support & Organizational Initiatives
    • Support HR leadership initiatives through coordination and communication
    • Assist with rollout of HR processes and staff communications as assigned
    • Support engagement efforts and culture-building initiatives
    • Ad hoc projects, as assigned by a senior leadership team member(s)
    • Flagship event roles are subject to change from event to event and will be communicated to each staff member after approval from their executive oversight at an appropriate time
    • Non-exempt employees are to accurately track and log all hours worked using BambooHR; any instances of working more than the employee’s normal schedule of hours must be preapproved by management via email

*Schedule subject to change for special events and/or meetings as necessary

** Only scheduled 38.5 hours to give room for after hours projects/meetings, and other ad hoc projects that don’t fit into office hours listed above
