Western Veterinary Partners is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Vice President of Talent Acquisition to lead our talent acquisition strategy and operations. This position will play a pivotal role in scaling our organization by attracting and retaining top-tier talent for WVP supported veterinary practices. As Vice President of Talent Acquisition, you will drive innovative sourcing strategies, optimize recruitment processes, and enhance the candidate experience. Your leadership will be key in building a diverse, high-quality workforce while supporting the growth and operational objectives of the company. We are seeking candidates located in the Denver Metro market open to a hybrid work schedule with travel as needed.

Key Responsibilities
Lead & Develop Team: Manage, mentor, and grow a high-performing recruitment team who are responsible for all stages of the recruitment process (attraction to hire) across four verticals: DVM (Doctor of Veterinary Medicine), Support Staff, Campus/Early Careers and Corporate.
Talent Acquisition Strategy: Build and execute a long-term recruitment strategy aligned with organizational goals.
Industry Networking: Maintain strong relationships with veterinary schools, associations, and professional networks to stay ahead of talent trends and expand pipelines.
Process Improvement: Optimize recruitment processes, technologies, and analytics to drive efficiency and elevate the candidate experience.
Employer Brand: Strengthen employer brand through campaigns, storytelling, and thought leadership in veterinary recruitment.
Metrics & Reporting: Define and report on recruitment KPIs; provide insights and recommendations to senior leadership.
Cross-Functional Partnership: Collaborate with key stakeholders across the organization to understand hiring needs and shape short- and long-term strategies.
Compliance: Ensure adherence to all hiring laws and veterinary-specific regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
10+ years of recruiting experience, including 5+ years in a senior leadership role; multi-site, decentralized environment. Healthcare, veterinary, or similar industries highly preferred
Proven ability to build, lead, and retain strong recruitment teams.
Deep understanding of high volume and specialized workforce challenges and competitive dynamics.
Expertise in talent acquisition strategy and diverse hiring practices.
Strong analytical skills with experience using ATS platforms and recruitment data.
Experience implementing recruiting technology to enhance efficiency and improve candidate experience.
Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
Bachelor�s degree required; master�s or HR certifications (SHRM-SCP, SPHR) preferred.

Our salary ranges are primarily determined by role, level, and location. The range provided for each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. The salary range for this opportunity is $180,000- $210,000 annually. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. The Company offers competitive compensation along with a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision benefits, vacation, sick leave, 401(k), and more depending on location. You will be provided more detailed information about compensation and benefits for your specific location.
