We are seeking an experienced Administrative Assistant/HR Specialist to play a key role in supporting our leadership team and strengthening our HR operations.


About the Role:

As the Administrative Assistant/HR Specialist, you will provide vital support to the CEO, HR Generalist, and Board of Directors. You'll help keep operations running smoothly, coordinate essential meetings, support HR initiatives, manage records and reports, and serve as a reliable liaison between internal teams and executive leadership.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Support and coordinate meetings for the Board of Directors and leadership team
  • Draft agendas and record minutes with professionalism and accuracy
  • Assist with HR functions including benefits administration, credentialing, and compliance
  • Analyze reports and manage organizational policies, contracts, and licensure
  • Provide day-to-day administrative support to key executives
  • Maintain communication across departments and serve as a switchboard backup
  • Ensure quality customer service and uphold the standards of the HOST mission

Required Qualifications:

  • Associate degree or equivalent business experience
  • Extensive knowledge of benefits administration and HR practices is required
  • Experience in healthcare or service sectors is preferred
  • Strong understanding of applicable employment laws and compliance standards
  • Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Reliability, initiative, and professionalism in all interactions
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
