We are seeking a Bilingual Human Resources (HR) Employee Relations professional to join the team in Texas, with travel to regional project sites. This role is a hands-on HR partner supporting field employees and supervisors, focused on employee relations, compliance, and fostering a positive and productive work environment.
What You'll Do as the Bilingual Human Resources (HR) Employee Relations:
- Serve as the on-site HR resource for employees and supervisors across active job sites
- Investigate employee concerns and lead conflict resolution efforts with professionalism and discretion
- Advise leaders on performance management, disciplinary actions, and HR policy application
- Regularly walk job sites to engage with employees and assess workplace conditions
- Escalate complex or sensitive issues to corporate HR when appropriate
- Support performance review cycles and participate in employee evaluations
- Coordinate and deliver training programs for employees and supervisors
- Facilitate onboarding and new hire orientation
- Educate employees on benefits and assist during open enrollment
- Conduct exit interviews and identify trends to improve retention
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and maintain required postings on-site
- Recommend and implement initiatives to improve employee engagement and experience
Must-Haves as the Bilingual Human Resources (HR) Employee Relations:
- 2+ years of experience in HR, employee relations, or a related field
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or similar discipline
- Fluency in both English and Spanish
- Ability to travel up to 50% to job sites
- Strong understanding of employee relations practices and employment law
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential matters with sound judgment
Nice-to-Haves as the Bilingual Human Resources (HR) Employee Relations:
- Experience supporting construction, engineering, or field-based teams
- Familiarity with multi-site or project-based work environments
- Experience facilitating training or employee engagement initiatives
