Description

GXM is seeking a junior-level professional to support multiple functions and company-level teams including business development, human resources and certification maintenance/renewals. This newly created role contributes to activities and work products across our Support Team and Special Projects Team with an ability to shift priorities and work efforts as needs arise. This position will be part of a high-performing team advancing company priorities rapidly through individual and team-based activities where committing to delivering by suspense dates and at the expected quality levels is critical. 


Key Responsibilities 

  • Conduct business development opportunity analysis for government-wide contracting vehicles.  
  • Conduct market research and customer research to support business development team strategies. 
  • Support business development meetings including action item requirements. 
  • Manage elements of proposals to support the business development team’s timely and quality response. 
  • Manage and maintain business development team templates. 
  • Develop and conduct quality control on compliance matrices as part of proposal efforts. 
  • Support recruiting activities for active proposals including setting up interviews to screen candidates for movement through the recruiting process. 
  • Conduct onboarding and offboarding activities as part of human resources activities. 
  • Conduct human resources topic research as required. 
  • Support human resources requirements as needed. 
  • Format resumes as part of proposal submissions. 
  • Manage the company’s ISO, CMMI and Agile Certifications, working with project teams to support monthly Project Management Reviews (PMRs) in support of continuous improvement and eventual certification renewal. 


Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution. 
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel and MS O365 products. 
  • Demonstrated experience with AI tools. 
  • Previous business development experience. 
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to take direction and to identify requirements individually to be completed without supervision. 
  • Knowledge of human resources concepts/topics/processes. 
  • Ability to present well-supported recommendations to team leaders and full teams based on assignments and/or observations. 
  • Ability to balance priorities and meet deadlines at the necessary quality level. 
  • Demonstrated ability to continuously improve. 
  • Experience working collaboratively with cross-functional teams and also individually on assignments.

  • Strong work ethic with a sense of ownership and disciplined accountability. 
  • Ability to credibly represent the team in both written deliverables and interpersonal engagements with government clients, teaming partners, prospective candidates, and current team members. 
Salary Description
Salary Range of $55k - $65k
