Value Driven Solutions (VDS), a leading private equity firm, is seeking an experienced Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) for a remote contract position to support one of our high-growth portfolio companies. This strategic leadership role will drive the people strategy, foster a high-performance culture, and align HR initiatives with the portfolio company’s business objectives to maximize value creation.
Strategic HR Leadership: Develop and implement a comprehensive HR strategy that supports the portfolio company’s growth, operational efficiency, and long-term objectives.
Talent Acquisition & Retention: Oversee recruitment strategies to attract top talent, design retention programs, and build a robust talent pipeline.
Culture & Engagement: Foster a positive, inclusive, and high-performance culture aligned with the company’s mission, vision, and values.
Organizational Development: Drive organizational design, change management, and leadership development initiatives to enhance scalability and agility.
Compensation & Benefits: Design and manage competitive compensation structures, equity plans, and benefits programs to attract and retain talent.
Employee Relations: Address complex employee relations issues, ensuring compliance with labor laws and promoting a fair, respectful workplace.
HR Operations: Oversee HR systems, policies, and processes, leveraging technology to streamline operations and enhance employee experience.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with the portfolio company’s CEO, executive team, and VDS leadership to align HR initiatives with business goals.
Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local employment regulations, mitigating HR-related risks.
Experience: 10+ years of progressive HR leadership experience, with at least 5 years in a senior HR role (e.g., CHRO, VP of HR) within a mid-sized or high-growth organization. Private equity or portfolio company experience is highly preferred.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; Master’s degree or HR certifications (e.g., SHRM-SCP, SPHR) are a plus.

Expertise in talent management, organizational development, and change management.
Strong knowledge of compensation structures, including equity-based incentives.
