The Role

The Chief Human Resource Officer (CHRO) is responsible for developing and leading a high performing global (HR) Talent Team.  The team is responsible for implementation of the organization’s human resource’s function which includes talent acquisition, performance management, compensation and benefits, employee relations and legal compliance.  This is a critical role that leads the operations of the HR leadership team, partners with business and department leaders and reports directly to a Managing Director.

The core goal is to develop a HR strategy that supports the business meet its current and future 5 years plans.  The dependence on technology is key to this strategy. Utilizing data metrics to support our executive committee drive change, for the growth of the business. This is a hands-on HR leadership role that drives an environment where everyone can come to work as their most authentic self.

Responsibilities

  • Builds and leads a high-performing global HR team who partners with global leaders to adopt consistent, high-impact people practices.
  • Fosters a workplace culture within the team where employees feel valued, supported, have growth opportunities and are connected to the company’s vision and values.
  • Ensures scalable, compliant and efficient HR operations and policies exist across different global locations.
  • Monitors global workforce trends and industry trends to keep the firm’s talent strategy relevant and competitive. Advises the executive team on changing trends and implications for the firm.
  • Partners with the executive team to implement organizational and transformation initiatives across practices, regions, and offices.
  • Supports leadership coaching and development programs.
  • Oversees HR technology, including data governance and analytics, to enable people-related insights and decision making.
  • Champions and promotes a compelling employee value proposition that attracts, engages and retains top engineering and supporting talent.
  • As required, provide advice to the CEOs, Board and executive team on people strategy, organizational health, leadership effectiveness, and talent risk mitigation.
  • As required, supports the executive team in M&A due diligence processes on people and culture related areas. Leads and implements culture integration strategy after acquisitions are complete.

Requirements

  • HR Leadership experience ideally in the Professional Services industry
  • Degree educated, ideally in HR or Business
  • SHRM accredited
  • Executive level communication skills
  • Workday experience preferable

Compensation

The rate for this position generally is $1,000 - $800,000 annually. This range is a good faith estimate provided pursuant to the New York Pay Transparency Law. It is based on what a successful New York applicant might be paid and assumes that the successful candidate will be in New York or perform the position from New York. Similar positions located outside of New York will not necessarily receive the same compensation. Actual pay rates may vary from the range, as permitted by New York Equal Pay Transparency Law. Compensation offers will be based on various factors, including operational needs, individual education, qualifications and experience, work location and comparison to employee already in the role, as well as other considerations permitted by law. A potential new employee’s pay history will not be used in compensation decisions.
