You have a track record of success in leading change, possess excellent judgment, are a good listener, and inspire others. To this job you’re bringing a customer service mentality, and you readily gain the trust of both our leaders and team members. You handle sensitive issues with diplomacy and discretion in addition to being a skilled trainer and coach of individuals and groups. Along the way you’ve picked up a bachelor’s degree, logged 10+ years of experience in people management and have 5+ years in a leadership role. We have a preference for HRCI or SHRM Certification and an advanced degree.
As the leader of our People Team, you’ll oversee the development and implementation of Henry Street’s next wave of people strategy initiatives, building on the work that has been done to develop and execute Henry Street’s 2023-2025 strategy, input from our recent culture survey, and our core organization values.
As a member of our leadership team, you will carry out our vision to practice “HR Without Borders”, strengthening capacity in the field to attract, hire, nurture, elevate and reward a team of over 600 individuals who represent the best in the sector.
