This position will also align HR practices with business strategies, focusing on talent management, employee engagement, and workforce planning. The Corporate HR Generalist is responsible for all human resource corporate support functions and will support the CHRO with projects and reporting. What the Corporate HR Generalist Does Each Day:
- Partners with business leaders to understand their needs and objectives
- Develops and implements HR strategies that support business goals
- Ensures HR practices are aligned with the company's overall strategy
- Provides coaching and mentorship to managers and employees
- Promotes a positive and inclusive work environment; Addresses employee concerns and improves morale
- Implements employee engagement initiatives
- Uses data to inform HR decisions and identify areas for improvement; Tracks and analyzes key HR metrics
- Supports organizational change initiatives
- Helps employees navigate through transitions and changes
- Manages and resolves complex employee relations issues. Conducts effective, thorough and objective investigations
- Supports employees with leaves of absence and ADA processes
- Conducts exit interviews and takes action to address patterns of concern
- Maintains in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance. Partners with the legal department as needed/required
- Provides day-to-day performance management guidance to management (e.g., coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions)
- Works closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention
- Provides HR policy guidance and interpretation
- Provides guidance and input on business unit restructures, workforce planning and succession planning
- Identifies training needs for business units and individual executive coaching needs
- Participates in evaluation and monitoring of training programs to ensure success. Follows up to ensure training objectives are met

Minimum Requirements for this Role:
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources
- 3-5 years of progressive strategic leadership experience in Human Resources positions
- SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) or SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) credential or ability to obtain certification within one year of employment
- Working knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines, including compensation practices, organizational diagnosis, employee and union relations, diversity, performance management, and federal and state respective employment laws
- 18+ years of age
- Able to successfully complete a drug and background check
- Must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis; Quva is not able to sponsor applicants for work visas
