Overview

The Corporate Human Resources Manager is a key contributor to the overall Human Resources strategy for the Corporate Office and the hotels within Viceroy’s portfolio. Reporting directly to the Vice President of Human Resources, this role partners closely with corporate leadership and property teams to support talent acquisition, onboarding, compliance, HR operations, and brand-wide people initiatives in a dynamic, lifestyle hospitality environment. This role will be based in Los Angeles, CA. 

Responsibilities

 

  • Lead and manage the onboarding experience for all corporate new hires and provide support for onboarding of senior hotel leadership roles.
  • Prepare and distribute corporate new hire announcements and ensure timely communication across the organization.
  • Coordinate, track, and ensure completion of required compliance and brand training for hotels and company-wide initiatives.
  • Audit, maintain, and ensure accuracy and compliance of corporate HR files and records.
  • Support recruitment efforts as needed for both corporate and hotel positions, including sourcing, screening, and coordination.
  • Assist in the preparation and execution of monthly HR calls, including presentation development and follow-up.
  • Provide oversight and day-to-day support of HR platforms and systems, ensuring effective utilization and data integrity.
  • Collaborate with the VP of HR and senior leadership on brand-wide HR initiatives, projects, and continuous improvement efforts.
  • Support planning and execution of corporate HR-related events, meetings, and engagement initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of progressive Human Resources experience
  • Hospitality industry experience strongly preferred.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Working knowledge of employment laws and HR compliance; multi-state experience a plus.
  • Demonstrated recruiting and sourcing capabilities, including identifying passive candidates through platforms such as LinkedIn, Indeed, Hcareers, and similar tools.
  • Proven ability to anticipate, identify, and resolve issues with sound judgment and discretion.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret complex information and data to support business objectives.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, follow-up, and accountability.
