JOB SUMMARY 

 

Responsible for all processes and procedures related to collective bargaining, employment contracts, drug and alcohol testing, discipline, performance, employment law and equity.

EDUCATION, TRAINING & EXPERIENCE

  • Master’s degree from an accredited institution in the field of human resources, business, public administration, or education
  • Minimum of three (3) years in administration and/or supervision
  • Experience in collective bargaining for a school system or public entity
  • Experience with employee performance issues
  • Experience with employee investigations and discipline

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  1. Three or more years of recent experience negotiating employee collective bargaining agreements, for a K-12 public school system, preferably in Florida.
  2. Experience as a department/division leader or senior district executive of a K-12 public school system, preferably in Florida.
