ORGANIZATION SUMMARY

POSITION SUMMARY:
The Employee Relations Investigator serves as the organization’s specialist for employee relations concerns, workplace investigations, and related risk mitigation. This role provides expert, impartial oversight of complaint assessment, investigative processes, findings, and recommendations while ensuring alignment with internal policy, legal requirements, and organizational values. The position also strengthens enterprise capability through training, process improvement, and partnership with key stakeholders to promote accountability, consistency, and employee trust.
ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Conduct or direct impartial investigations involving non-SEAH alleged violations of policy, code of conduct, employee misconduct, or other workplace concerns.
- Develop investigation strategies, conduct interviews, gather and assess evidence, and document findings to support objective and well-founded decision-making.
- Prepare clear investigative reports, communicate findings and risk implications, and recommend corrective or preventive actions when trends or systemic issues are identified.
- Partner with various cross-functional teams/individuals such as: Human Resources Partners, Accountability and Safeguarding, Finance, General Counsel, and other leaders to ensure coordinated, confidential, and consistent management of sensitive matters.
- Advise leaders on employee relations best practices, investigation protocols, and appropriate responses to reported concerns.
- Review and recommend changes (when appropriate) to strengthen policies, procedures, controls, and investigative protocols to improve compliance, consistency, and organizational effectiveness.
- Identify emerging employee relations and compliance risks and coordinate with appropriate stakeholders to support timely mitigation.
- Develop and deliver training for employees, volunteers, and other stakeholders on ethics, internal reporting, code of conduct expectations, and investigation-related processes.
- Coordinate with external agencies or law enforcement when necessary and appropriate.
- Perform other related duties as assigned
JOB REQUIREMENTS:

- Able to affirm and/or acknowledge World Reliefs Core Beliefs, Statement of Faith, Christian Identity and National Association of Evangelicals' For the Health of The Nation document
- Exceptional ability to maintain confidentiality and handle highly sensitive information with sound judgment.
- Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws, regulations, and internal policies relevant to employee relations and investigations.
- Ability to adapt to organizational needs and operate effectively in a dynamic, mission-driven environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or related business software.

- Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and build credibility across diverse stakeholders.
- Strong organization and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple matters and deadlines effectively.
- Cultural awareness, emotional maturity, and the ability to communicate with diplomacy across varied contexts.
$30.50 - $33 an hour
