Maintain employee relations strategies and programs that foster positive relationships and a productive work environment.
Investigate employee grievances, conduct thorough and impartial investigations in a timely manner.
Mediate and facilitate discussions between employees and supervision to resolve conflicts and promote effective communication.
Analyze employee relations data and trends to identify areas of improvement and recommend proactive solutions
Guide and educate management, supervisors and workforce in union matters, ensuring a clear understanding of the union campaign and collective bargaining processes.
Daily interaction with employees.
Qualifications
Proven experience as an Employee Relations Manager or in a similar employee relations role.
Prior union experience a plus.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively collaborate with employees and management at all levels.
Ability to conduct thorough and impartial investigations, maintaining confidentiality and integrity.
Maintain knowledge and understanding of laws and regulations related to EEO, affirmative action, collective bargaining, unions, labor relations and human resources.
Experience working on construction sites preferred.
Work Environment
Combination of office and field-based work.
Regular interaction with employees and EAS Leadership.
Travel to various company locations and job sites required.
Successful candidate will be expected to be in front of EAS employees 80% and in office 20% of their time.
