Support programs to promote employee engagement, morale and a positive workplace culture
Provide confidential counseling and support to employees on work-related issues including performance management, conflict resolution, harassment and discrimination.
Collaborate with managers and HR partners to develop, document and follow up on corrective action plans to ensure compliance with company policies and legal regulations
Mediate and facilitate resolution of conflicts between teammates and managers.
Investigate allegations of discrimination, harassment, workplace misconduct and performance deficiencies
Conduct confidential interviews with employees and managers to gather information and understand concerns.
Escalate teammate relations events and concerns in accordance with company policy and guidance.
Maintain complete, accurate and confidential documentation of employee relations issues and investigations using Company approved processes, tools and templates.
Policy and Compliance:
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of employment laws, regulations, and company policies.
Support the development and communication of HR policies and procedures to employees and managers.
Conduct training sessions on HR topics, such as harassment, discrimination, and workplace safety.
Identify opportunities for improvement in policy content to improve clarity, teammate understanding and adherence
Communication and Collaboration:
Maintain effective communication with employees, managers, and other stakeholders on HR matters.
Build and maintain strong relationships with employees and managers at all levels.
Act as a liaison between employees and management, facilitating open communication and resolving conflict effectively.
Maintain and protect the confidentiality of sensitive information
Additional Duties:
Prepare reports and presentations on employee relations metrics and trends.
Stay current on industry trends and best practices in employee relations.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in employee relations or a similar HR role.
Strong knowledge of employment law and HR regulations
