As an Executive Assistant and Human Resources manager, you will get a behind-the-scenes look at the inner workings of a company with over 200 employees, spanning garden center operations, landscaping, and production. You will support the leadership team, coordinate HR initiatives, and help ensure smooth day-to-day operations while fostering a positive work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support owners and executives with daily operations and special projects
  • Input transactions and reconcile the general ledger
  • Generate and review reports to provide actionable insights
  • Coordinate meetings, events, and executive schedules
  • Troubleshoot and provide solutions for operational and HR-related issues
  • Manage weekly payroll and benefits administration
  • Ensure compliance with end-of-year processes and reporting
  • Manage fleet registrations, onboarding, and offboarding
  • Foster and model a positive company culture in all interactions


Preferred Qualifications:

  • NOT AFRAID TO GET YOUR HANDS DIRTY
  • QuickBooks Online proficiency
  • Experience in the green industry (preferred, not required)
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Minimum of 2 years of human resources, general accounting or administrative experience
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality
  • Adaptable and efficient in a fast-paced, changing environment
  • Proficient in Spanish  (preferred, not required)
  • Enjoys outdoor environments
