Global Human Resources Business Partner

Summary:

In this role, you will provide strategic HR leadership for select key businesses and functions. You will provide direct partnership and support to designated members of the Executive Leadership Team and their Senior staff, working closely with a network of HR colleagues across the globe to ensure achievement of business results through impactful people approaches.

Working closely with the CHRO and designated Executive Leader(s), you will connect business strategy to people-focused work, with responsibility for driving development and incorporating enterprise-wide initiatives. Actively incorporate all elements of an HR generalist role, including leadership coaching and development, succession planning, organizational design, compensation, talent acquisition, compliance, and training and development at the corporate and local level.

You will also be responsible for one or more additional client groups, and these client groups may change over time based on the interests of the incumbents and the Company's support needs.

Please note that this role requires on-site presence five days per week, Monday through Friday.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Partner with the Executive and their leadership team to develop and guide HR strategy aligned with the business.
  • HR leadership in the execution of multiple initiatives to achieve organizational capability, including organizational alignment, structure development, and/or rationalization
  • Utilize knowledge of local divisional/functional business objectives and functional HR knowledge and expertise to support and advise local leaders and managers on HR-related issues to help meet local business goals and objectives.
  • Represents the interests and viewpoint of the functional team and functional leadership team in cross-functional work with business leaders and other HR partners.
  • Lead Strategic Talent Management review and Succession Planning process, and foster robust development plans for High Potential talent and/or key leadership positions
  • Selection and Development of leadership talent in accordance with Momentive’s core competency model and framework
  • Coach and develop the Senior Leaders on effective leadership behaviors
  • Act as advisor and facilitator to drive change and improvements in the organization and culture to achieve the business strategy
  • Promote positive and effective employee relations

The HRBP will collaborate closely with HR People Operations and COE leadership to ensure alignment in the implementation of HR policy and process, including:

  • Provide HR leadership and coaching through the Performance Management Process annually (performance differentiation/calibration, performance discussion, and merit increase process)
  • Facilitate training on key company processes, including performance management, Salary Planning, etc., to ensure leaders, managers, and associates have a solid understanding of them and to drive common practice throughout the company
  • Collaborate with the Talent Acquisition team to align on a strategy to fill vacancies for the business leader and prepare interview teams. Participate in the interviewing and selection process to facilitate the selection of the best-qualified candidates.
  • Partner with COEs regarding how to gain alignment and recommendations on COE-specific expertise 

Qualifications:

The following are required for the role

  • 7+ years of Human Resources experience

  • Ability to partner strategically on business issues with executives, senior, and site leaders

  • Global HR experience

  • Demonstrated experience successfully leading, coaching, and mentoring others

  • Effective influencing and consulting skills

  • Strong verbal, written, and listening communication skills

  • Ability to team effectively with others and lead others through change     

  • Knowledge of HR-related legal issues, including those related to labor

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources / industrial relations, psychology, business administration, or equivalent 

  • Proficient in MS Office (Email, Teams, PowerPoint, Word, Excel)

The following are preferred for the role

  • Human Resource management experience, preferably in supporting a growth business on a global scale

  • MBA / Master's Degree

What We Offer:

Base Pay Range: $119,000 - $174,350

The actual salary offered is determined by factors including but not limited to education, experience, skill sets, and geography. Additionally, this role is eligible for incentive or sales variable compensation payments. The amount of these incentives is based on the terms of the Company's incentive plans, the Company's financial performance, and/or individual employee job performance.
