HR Assistant

If so, Ryther wants YOU to join our team as our HR Assistant! You will be part of a team of 2 people in the HR department, supporting a staff of 220+ professionals.

As our HR Assistant, you'll be supporting the HR Manager and making sure everything runs smoothly. Your days will be filled with:

  • Keeping employee records organized and confidential (you’re basically a vault).
  • Coordinating onboarding and credentialing (background checks, licensing, etc.).
  • Scheduling and managing our training programs (you’ll be the go-to for CEUs!).
  • Post jobs, sort resumes, and help us find our next great teammate.
  • Attending job fairs and community events to spread the word about Ryther.
  • Helping with new hire orientations and internship onboarding.
  • Backing up the HR Manager when needed (you’re their right hand!).
  • Championing equity, social justice, and trauma-informed care initiatives.

What You Bring:

  • At least 1 year of HR experience (or equivalent superhero-level admin skills).
  • Excellent communication skills—you know how to write, talk, and listen.
  • Discretion and confidentiality are second nature to you.
  • You’re a multitasking wizard who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to model appropriate, calm, and even behavior for our staff - HR can't be poppin' off.
  • Comfortable with Microsoft O365 and able to learn other systems like our HRIS and ATS.

  • Love organizing things (files, events, people—you name it).
  • Have a knack for making people feel welcome and supported.
  • Are passionate about equity and trauma-informed care.
  • Are a team players who handle stress with grace—and doesn’t pass the pressure around like a hot potato.
  • Approach things with curiosity and humor (How does one even work in HR without a sense of humor? HOW?!).
