N2N Integrations is looking for a Human Resource Assistant to join our team in our Hermiston office. The Human Resource Assistant will focus on tasks and responsibilities that will support the Finance and HR functions to ensure build and maintain the smooth operation of activities for a growing company.
Human Resources Assistant activities include, but not limited to, assisting with- preparing/posting job ads, resume screening, coordinating interviews/evaluations
- on- & off- boarding activities for employees
- internal and external HR-related inquiries/requests, disputes and investigations
- maintaining employee spreadsheets and employee files
- coordinating employee benefits
- tracking and scheduling training & development activities
Administrative Responsibilities include, but not limited to, assisting with
- administrative functions (electronic file management, kitchen and office supplies, other clerical activities)
- development, creation, documentation, and management of company policies and procedures in alignment with corporate values and operational needs
- planning, set-up and execution of employee events such as bbq, holiday events, etc.
Skills & Qualifications:- Experience in office tasks and setting, HR experience is an asset
- Proficient in computer applications including Microsoft Office applications, Excel, Google Docs
- High attention to detail, and the will to take initiative and work independently when needed
- Reliable with a personable and positive demeanor who promotes employee engagement and a positive workplace culture
- Professional integrity, sense of responsibility and accountability and the ability to handle information with a high degree of confidentiality*.*
- Ability to communicate effectively; advanced communication skills, both verbal and written
- Excellent organization and time management skills
- Understanding of associated laws and regulations (Occupational Health & Safety Act, Employment Standards Act)
- Completion of Human Resources program or equivalent experience in HR activities is an asset, but not necessary
- Superb conflict resolution skills
- Proficient in HRIS and talent management systems
