We are currently looking for a HR Intern to join our team!
What You'll Do:
Onboarding and New Hire support –Process Review and Refresh
Enter new hires into ADP
Prepare orientation materials, Identify gaps, redundancies, or delays
Track onboarding completion, Recommend improvements focused on efficiency and compliance
Employee Data & HR Administration – reduces backlog and improves data accuracy
Maintain digital employee files
Assist with routine data changes
Support Leave tracking
Assist in timecard review and exception reporting
Engagement and Culture Activities – supports retention and site morale
Assist with the planning and coordination of activities
Assist with recognition programs (birthdays, anniversaries)
When and Where:
This will be a 1st Shift 8am - 5pm M-F position located at our Plant in Walker, MI.
What You Need to Have:
- Must be pursuing a four-year Bachelor’s degree related to Human Resources from a accredited college or university
- Must have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 to be considered for the Internship program
- Must have superior verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task in global manufacturing environment
- Authorized to work in the U.S.
- Must be physically capable of performing the essential functions of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation.
