The Birches Academy is a STEAM integrated public charter school located in Salem, NH. The mission of the Birches Academy is to provide excellence in core academics and the arts while cultivating the individual qualities and strengths of each child. This position is for a part-time Human Resources Assistant and Payroll Administrator.
We are hiring a part-time Human Resources Assistant and Payroll Administrator for approximately 5 hours a week. Potential to work some hours at home. Potential for more hours during busier times.
Responsibilities:
-Biweekly payroll for about 60 employees, some hourly, some salary
-Recruiting administration: post jobs, send resumes to hiring managers, set up interviews
-Benefits administration: set up news hires and process cancellations
-Maintaining personnel files
-And any other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
-Experience processing payroll for 3+ years
-Experience with HR Assistant duties such as benefits administration for 1+ years
-Experience coordinating recruiting for managers for 1+ years
