REIC Rentals is seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented HR Coordinator (onsite) who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys being the person who creates a more organized, responsive, and scalable HR function that supports both employees and the broader business.

In this role, HR isn't just administrative-it's central to keeping the company running efficiently across multiple locations, supporting field teams, and ensuring employees have a smooth, professional experience from hire to exit. Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the full onboarding process, including pre-employment screenings, driver eligibility (insurance compliance), HRIS workflows, and Form I-9 compliance
  • Coordinate employee offboarding and ensure proper documentation and system updates
  • Administer and track employee leaves of absence
  • Maintain accurate employee records, ensuring proper storage, naming conventions, and compliance with document retention policies
  • Respond to employee, applicant, and supervisor inquiries; escalate complex or sensitive issues appropriately
  • Partner cross-functionally with Safety, IT, and Finance to ensure accurate and timely employee data
  • Process employment verifications and unemployment claims
  • Provide support and answer general questions related to benefits, HR systems, and programs
  • Ensure all locations maintain up-to-date labor law postings
  • Assist with and/or coordinate new hire orientation
  • Prepare HR-related correspondence as needed
  • Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
  • Stay current on HR trends, best practices, and regulatory updates
  • Provide occasional support to the recruiting team
  • Perform other duties as assigned


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field, or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience preferred
  • HR certification (PHR, SHRM-CP, etc.) is a plus

  • Working knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices


Additional Requirements

  • this is an onsite position at our HQ in Denver
  • Ability to successfully pass a background check, physical, drug screen, and E-Verify
  • Travel requirement: <10%
