The Human Resource Coordinator will be responsible for recruitment, onboarding, and other employee engagement, and retention activities. The HR Coordinator should be willing to travel to our Coatesville location. 


Essential Responsibilities:
New Hire Orientation: 

  • Conduct new hire orientation for all locations in Eastern shore
  • Educate HR Policies & Procedures 
  • Educate Benefits options available 

Benefits Management: 

  • Track benefits & 401k retirement plans enrollment
  • Monitor ACA enrollment
  • Monitor COBRA enrollment

Employee Engagement/Retention: 

  • Coordinate Progressive Discipline program
  • Coordinate exit interview, retention and turnover trends
  • Periodically evaluates the HR program’s portfolio of projects to ensure the optimal mix of projects are being executed
  • Be accountable for project results and take a proactive approach to owning the projects assigned
  • Work closely with HR associates, business managers and other functional department teams
  • Broad HR Generalist background
  • Solid knowledge of employment laws and HR practices
  • Identify innovative strategies in actively engaging workforce while building a positive work environment
  • Special projects and other duties as assigned

Compliance:

  • On going maintenance of Employee Personal file and all other related credentials required for the position.
  • Responsible for all state audits related to credentialing, mandatory training, and licensures. 
  • Be point of contact for all FMLA/worker’s compensation/unemployment related questions and process. 
  • Coach managers/supervisors with respect to employee relations activities including progressive discipline. 

System Maintenance:

  • Maintain HRIS staffing information in HRIS
  • Maintain Send Word communication tool
  • Maintain Relias training tool 
Requirements

 Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource management, business administration, communication or a related field or High School plus 3 years of dedicated experience in recruiting and full-cycle recruitment in a high-volume environment required. Candidates with knowledge and experience in the health care/behavioral health care industry preferred. 
  • Experience working with HRIS system preferable Paylocity
  • Must demonstrate sound knowledge of effective networking techniques.
  • Applied knowledge of applicable state and federal employment regulations.
  • Positive and collegial communication skills and the ability to deal effectively with management and candidates at all levels.
