What you will do in this role:

  • Maintain and manage employee data and information including compliance, documentation, status changes, and company procedures. 
  • Support talent acquisition, employment marketing, recruitment outreach, and employee communication.
  • Conduct and support initiatives to include pre-employment screenings, onboarding, new hire orientation, training, and development. 
  • Support and administer employee perks including tuition programs, employee discounts, PTO.
  • Use independent judgment and decision making to ensure Human Resource’s operation and quality of service are met.
  • Collaborate and work with amazing team members to ensure best-in-class employee engagement and support of Rocky Mountain’s colleagues.
  • Work collaboratively and cooperatively with others, committing to a workplace of teamwork, dignity, and respect.
  • Assist with audits and reporting requirements.
  • Other duties as assigned.

How you will thrive in this role:

  • Strong interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills. Ability to work with diverse groups, individuals, complex situations, and initiatives.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Capable problem-solving skills, analytical, able to multi-task and works well under pressure and within deadlines. 
  • Previous experience in human resources is desired but not necessary. Rocky Mountain is committed to providing training and development for all employees to build their professional experience and capabilities.
  • Ability to understand, read, and/or comprehend instructions and directions including different numbers/specifications.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
  • Be a collaborative team player who is willing to work with others and independently.
  • Strong work ethic focused on commitment, pride of work, quality, desire to learn, and dependability.

Physical Requirements:

Position performance will require the regular physical ability to walk and function in elevation changes by the means of self-propulsion, to include steps, ladders, and varied walking and working surfaces. Ability to negotiate warehouse work areas in a safe manner and behavior. Vision abilities specific to the position will include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to focus. Performing in this role will require the use of hands to use and handle tools, objects, materials, and controls. Performance requires the frequent ability to sit, talk, hear, stand, climb, balance, stoop kneel, crouch, or crawl. Employee will need to be able to read, write, and understand basics of the English language. Employee may have to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and up to 45 pounds assisted or if capable.
