Maintain accurate and up-to-date HR files, records, and documentation, including hires, promotions, transfers, and terminations, with timely updates to the HRIS system.
Address employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, referring complex matters to the appropriate staff.
Respond to employee questions regarding benefits, payroll, and other HR related topics.
Collaborate with RPO on the candidate pre-boarding process.
Upload driver new hire documents into the system for all employees.
Process and respond to unemployment claims and complete employment verifications as needed.
Ensure employee communication boards display the most current and relevant information.
Manage HRIS system updates as necessary.
Process invoices accurately and efficiently.
Provide HR support to other company locations as needed.
Assist HRBP with audits, administrative tasks, and compliance reviews.
Support HRBP with planning and executing special events, including benefits enrollment, company-wide meetings, employee recognition events, holiday parties, and retirement celebrations.
Execute special projects as assigned by the HR Director.
Stay informed on HR trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in talent management and employment law.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education: Associate degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
Experience: Minimum of 2 years of direct, hands-on HR experience, ideally within the food/beverage, consumer products, logistics, or manufacturing industries.
Regulatory Knowledge: Strong understanding of employment laws and regulations.
Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and related software.
HR Systems: Ability to quickly learn and navigate HRIS and talent management systems.
Flexibility: Willingness to work flexible schedules, including occasional early mornings and evenings.
