The community you’ll be caring for\: AdventHealth Lake Wales
· AdventHealth Lake Wales is a licensed 160-bed hospital, with 24-hour emergency care and outpatient services including imaging, rehab, lab and wound care, that has been serving the community and surrounding areas.
· As a part of the AdventHealth network patients will have greater access to a wide range of innovative therapies, new research, leading-edge technology and an extensive team of medical specialists.
· Lake Wales is located in Central Florida in between Orlando and Tampa and is home to the Historic Bok Tower Gardens and Bird Sanctuary
The role you’ll contribute:
The HR Coordinator serves as the host for new hire orientation including serving as the trainer for HR topics in orientation, coordination of new hire paperwork and verification of post offer requirements. Conducts Primary source verifications for licensure and certifications. Provides customer service to associates, answering questions and assisting with My Hub.
The value you’ll bring to the team:
· Serves as host for new hire orientation. Serves as the trainer during orientation for HR topics.
· Coordinates new hire paperwork and responds to questions (i.e. regarding orientation, next steps, PDO, basic insurance eligibility questions, etc)
· Ensures all new associates have all the necessary checks performed before they can start work and/or before they go to their departments (Physical, Criminal, Primary source licensure, etc).
· Completes, tracks and maintains I-9 information for employees.
· Complete EVerify for new hires.
