In this position... 

The HR Coordinator supports the People Matters department by executing complex administrative tasks, including HCM data reviews and litigation support requests. The successful candidate will manage high-volume email channels and provide vital operational support for separations, audits, vendor management, and internal team compliance initiatives.

This role is hybrid and requires at least 4 days per week onsite in Dearborn, MI.



Responsibilities

What you'll do...

  • The position reports to Director, People Matters.
  • Analytical responsibilities include HCM reporting, department SharePoint sites administration, litigation holds and suspension orders, government requests compliance and partner with OGC for official records.
  • Project work includes global communication coordination, policy updates on Life@Ford, completion of department MCRP, Harassment hotline coverage, Personnel Relations audit support and annual updates to separation programs.
  • Administrative work includes management of department purchase orders and extensive file system, responses to executive letter coordination, department AFR/GIS requirements compliance.
  • Bulk and department mail coordination.
  • Support on group and individual separation actions and transaction reporting.
  • Management of multiple department-wide email channels, including responding to employee inquiries, assigning inquiries to team members for support, and liaising with cross-functional partners on time-sensitive and confidential matters.
  • Team support including work anniversary, birthday and time-away requests and maintaining/distributing team and customer assignments. 
  • Support new-hire orientation for team members, including access management.
  • Other support duties as assigned. 


Qualifications

You'll have...

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of relevant education and experience.

  • 3+ years of prior HR experience.

  • 3+ years Coordinator related experience with customer interface, vendor management, and experience with HRIS.

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and deal with sensitive information.
  • Strong oral, written and interpersonal communications skills.
  • Well organized and possessing the ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to plan, prioritize and support multiple assignments and projects.
  • Proactive in resolving issues/concerns.
  • Accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Proficient in use of standard company software (Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, and Excel).
  • Strong team skills and a willingness to expand responsibilities to support other areas, when required.
  • SharePoint editing knowledge.

This position is a salary grade 4 and ranges from $55,020-92,580.

This position is a salary grade 5 and ranges from $63,480-106,680.
