Position Overview

The People Partner (HR Generalist) plays a critical role in supporting employee relations, HR operations, and policy execution across the organization. This role is hands-on and execution-focused, providing day-to-day HR support while partnering closely with senior People & Culture leadership to ensure employee issues are addressed consistently, thoughtfully, and in alignment with company values and legal requirements.

 

This position supports North America and APAC People & Culture needs, with a primary focus on employee relations, exit processes, and policy support, and collaborates closely with People & Culture leadership in those regions.

Job Responsibilities

Employee Relations Support

  • Support employee relations matters including investigations, documentation, coaching conversations, and follow-ups
  • Partner with People & Culture leadership on performance improvement processes (PIPs), including documentation, meeting coordination, and ongoing tracking
  • Participate in employee meetings related to employee relations matters as needed
  • Ensure employee relations issues are handled consistently, timely, and with appropriate documentation
  • Partner with external employment counsel as needed by supporting information gathering, documentation, and follow-up in coordination with People & Culture leadership
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation related to employee relations matters, ensuring appropriate follow-up and recordkeeping

Exit & Offboarding

  • Conduct employee exit interviews and synthesize insights and trends
  • Partner with People & Culture leadership to identify themes, risks, and opportunities based on exit data
  • Support offboarding processes to ensure a smooth, respectful, and compliant employee experience

Policy & Handbook Support

  • Assist with drafting, updating, and maintaining HR policies and employee handbook content
  • Support the rollout and communication of policy updates
  • Partner with People & Culture leadership to ensure policies align with evolving legal and business needs

HR Generalist & Operational Support

  • Provide general HR guidance to employees and managers on policies, procedures, and HR programs
  • Serve as a first point of contact for managers seeking guidance on employee issues, policies, and HR processes
  • Support the development and rollout of manager training related to performance improvement processes (PIPs) and employee relations, in partnership with People & Culture leadership
  • Collect and analyze employee data and trends (e.g., attrition, exit themes, engagement insights) to help proactively identify risks and inform People & Culture decisions
  • Coordinate and monitor completion of required compliance trainings (e.g., harassment prevention), ensuring accurate tracking and follow-up
  • Support compliance-related postings and notices (e.g., required labor law posters), ensuring materials are accurate, current, and appropriately distributed across regions
  • Support ad hoc HR initiatives and projects as needed, including compliance-related work and documentation clean-up
  • Collaborate with People & Culture team members across regions to support consistent HR practices

Partnership & Collaboration

  • Escalate complex or high-risk matters appropriately while maintaining ownership of day-to-day execution
  • Model discretion, professionalism, and positive intent in all interactions
  • Provide direct execution support to People & Culture leadership to help manage workload across employee relations, policy, and compliance priorities

Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field required
  • 3–6 years of progressive HR Generalist or Employee Relations experience
  • Hands-on experience supporting employee relations matters, including investigations, documentation, and sensitive employee conversations
  • Experience supporting performance improvement processes (PIPs), including documentation and follow-up
  • Strong written communication and documentation skills
  • Working knowledge of U.S. employment laws and HR best practices, including multi-state requirements; experience supporting Canada and APAC employment practices a plus
  • Ability to exercise discretion and sound judgment when handling confidential information
  • Comfortable managing competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • HR certification (PHR, SHRM-CP) a plus

Compensation, Benefits and Work Authorization

In addition to the posted base salary range, this position is eligible for a performance bonus and benefits (subject to eligibility requirements) listed here. Total compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to, type of position, location, education level, work experience, and certifications. This information is applicable for all full-time positions.

Pay Range

USD $85,000.00 - USD $100,000.00 /Yr.
