A professional organization in Brooklyn is seeking a skilled and motivated HR Generalist to manage a broad range of human resources functions, including hiring, onboarding, employee relations, benefits administration, compliance, and organizational development. This full-time role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with a solid foundation in HR practices and a passion for building positive workplace culture.
The HR Generalist will serve as a key member of the team, supporting staff across departments and collaborating with leadership to ensure compliance, efficiency, and employee satisfaction.
Responsibilities Include:
Managing the hiring process and overseeing onboarding and new hire orientation
Addressing employee concerns to foster a positive and inclusive environment
Administering benefits programs, including health insurance, HSA, pension, and retirement plans
Supporting performance evaluations and coordinating annual training programs (OSHA, Compliance, Pharmaceutical)
Ensuring all HR activities remain compliant with employment laws and internal policies
Maintaining accurate employee records and generating HR reports
Monitoring HR metrics such as retention, turnover, and staffing needs
Supporting strategic staffing plans and provider incentive program tracking
Leading internal communications and employee recognition efforts
Conducting exit interviews and assisting with additional HR initiatives as needed
Ideal Qualifications:
Strong knowledge of HR best practices, employment law, and compliance standards
Experience in benefits administration and employee relations
Ability to analyze HR data and present actionable insights
Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Prior experience in healthcare or a regulated environment is a plus

Schedule: Monday–Thursday 9:00 AM–5:00 PM; Friday 9:00 AM–1:00 PM
