HR Job Description:
Your role as an HR Generalist will be far from one-dimensional. You will undertake a wide range of HR tasks, like organizing trainings, administering employee benefits and leaves and creating HR policies. You will use Human Resources Information Systems to ensure all employee records are up-to-date and confidential. In addition, you will act as the main point of contact for employees’ queries on HR-related topics.
The goal is to ensure the HR department’s operations will be running smoothly and effectively to deliver maximum value to the organization as a whole.
Required Skills:
- 5 years of experience in human resources management, business administration or equivalent
- Proven experience as an HR Generalist
- Understanding of general human resources policies and procedures
- Good knowledge of employment/labor laws
- Outstanding knowledge of MS Office; HRIS systems (e.g. PeopleSoft) will be a plus
- Excellent communication and people skills
- Aptitude in problem-solving
- Desire to work as a team with a results driven approach
- Additional HR training will be plus

Responsibilities:
- Plan and conduct new employee orientation.
- Identify and manage training and development needs for employees
- Administer HR policies and procedures
- Administer and ensure compensation and benefits are in line with company policies and legislation
- Support annual performance review. Implement and monitor performance management system
- Handle employee complaints, grievances and disputes
- Administer employee discipline processes, Facilitate Performance Improvement Plans
- Maintain the human resource information system and employee database (including certifications)
- Coordinate employee safety, welfare and wellness
- Maintain knowledge of legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting HR functions
- Create onboarding plans and educating newly hired employees on HR policies, internal procedures and regulations
- Support internal messaging and marketing. Manage and track internal customer satisfaction
- Assisting with various regulatory reports
- Manage subcontractor reviews and files
- Conduct exit interviews.
Education, Qualifications and Experience
- Degree or diploma in human resources management, business administration or equivalent
- BS/BA in Business administration or relevant field
- Generalist human resources experience
- Knowledge of the principles and practices of HR management
- Knowledge of business principles
- Knowledge of relevant legislation and regulations
- Knowledge of relevant software
