HR Professional

The HR Generalist is responsible to support all HR functions in all core processes: talent acquisition for the region, payroll coordination, ensuring compliance and alignment with Head Office and Group Corporate standards.

Key Responsibilities

HR Operations & Talent Acquisition

• Taking part in supporting HR operations and Talent Acquisition reporting functionally to the HR Head Office, ensuring alignment with corporate standards and processes.

• Support the coordination of interview schedules, background checks, job requisitions, job postings, and offer letters ensuring a smooth and efficient recruitment process

• Coordinate new hire onboarding process, ensuring seamless facilitation through Paychex, proactive engagement with new hires regarding outstanding documentation, validation of I-9 information via E-Verify, posting new hire announcements.

• Process changes employee lifecycle changes in Paychex (new hires, terminations, salary increases, job changes, etc.) collaborating with relevant departments for onboarding and offboarding operational processes.

• Act as the main point of contact for all mandatory and recommended training programs provided by PEO while proactively staying up to date on state and federal labor requirements as communicated by Paychex or general HR knowledge.

• Develop, maintain and communicate effective and efficient administrative procedures for personnel matters, including employee inquiries, performances management processes reporting to the HR Head Office and Retail function.

• Collaborate with Finance on various ad hoc requests for reporting or follow-up regarding employee timecards, paid time off, and other payroll-related items.

• Support the finance manager as payroll backup - Processing bi-weekly payroll through Paychex Run.

Key Success Factors

• 3 or more years of related HR experience preferred.

• Experience in recruitment is required.

• Strong ability to build and develop relationships and collaborate effectively across functions

• Strong communication skills (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills (approachable and

engaging style).

• Strong organizational and time management skills.

• Work effectively with limited supervision.

• Knowledge of HRIS systems and PAYCHEX is preferred

• SHRM certification is preferred
