Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Human Resources Generalist to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing various HR functions, ensuring compliance with company policies, and fostering a positive workplace culture. This position requires a proactive approach to human resources management, with a focus on talent acquisition, workforce management, and employee development. We are looking for a preferred candidate who has a passion for helping others and is compassionate towards families impacted with autism.

Duties

  • Manage the recruitment process, including job postings, screening candidates, and conducting interviews to ensure effective talent acquisition.
  • Develop and implement affirmative action plans to promote diversity and inclusion within the organization.
  • Oversee employee onboarding and orientation programs to facilitate smooth transitions for new hires.
  • Assist in succession planning efforts to identify and develop internal talent for future leadership roles.
  • Utilize HR software systems such as PeopleSoft, iSolved Hire, and SAP for managing employee records and HR processes.
  • Support workforce management initiatives by analyzing staffing needs and developing strategies to meet organizational goals.
  • Collaborate with management to address employee relations issues, providing guidance on conflict resolution and performance management.
  • Maintain compliance with labor laws and regulations while ensuring that company policies are upheld.
  • Benefits administration
  • Manage staff scheduling to ensure optimization of staff coverage needs
  • Support HR Manager in Performance Evaluations and staff development
  • Help build company culture and drive our company mission and values

Requirements

  • Proven experience in human resources management with a strong understanding of HR best practices.
  • Familiarity with affirmative action planning and talent management strategies.
  • Proficient in using HR software systems such as PeopleSoft, iSolved Hire, or SAP.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess workforce needs and develop effective solutions.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact effectively at all levels of the organization.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • A commitment to fostering a positive workplace culture through engagement initiatives.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $28.00 per hour
