HR Generalist

The Human Resources Generalist will perform daily functions of the Human Resource Department including, Interviewing, staff, onboarding staff, administering benefits and leave and support compliance with company polices and practices.

Duties

• Collects, enters, and maintains data and information required for benefits administration.
• Communicates changes affecting benefits coverage—such as changes in employment status, changes in family status, and changes to dependents and beneficiaries—to insurance brokers, carriers, plan administrators, and systems.
• Records, files and enters the results of performance reviews and related pay raises.
• Collaborates with department head to ensure that job descriptions are regularly reviewed and updated as duties change and roles evolve.
• Maintains the integrity and confidentiality of human resource files and records.
• Ensures that new and accurate job descriptions are written when new positions are created and filled.
• Creates offer letters, counseling statements, separation letters
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Covers for HR Director when needed. Collaborating with HR Director and COO.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management or related field preferred.
• Proven experience in human resources management with a focus on talent management and workforce management.
• Strong knowledge of employment & labor law as well as HR best practices.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization.
• Proficiency in project management and organizational skills to handle multiple tasks effectively.
• Familiarity with social media management for recruitment purposes is a plus.
• Experience with data entry and HRIS systems; familiarity with UKG or similar platforms is advantageous.
