HR Generalist

Join a team where people come first. United Alloy is seeking a proactive and people-focused HR Generalist to serve as a key member of our HR team. In this role, you’ll be the first point of contact for employees and play a vital part in supporting HR operations and cross-functional collaboration. What You’ll Do:
- Act as a liaison between employees and management to promote communication, job satisfaction, and performance.
- Partner with department leaders to maintain high levels of employee engagement.
- Support HR functions including employee relations, benefits administration (STD/LTD, COBRA, FMLA), and unemployment documentation.
- Maintain and update HRIS systems with accuracy and confidentiality.
- Assist with onboarding and orientation for new hires.
- Respond to employee inquiries and provide guidance on policies and procedures.
- Serve as a backup for attendance tracking and employee notifications.
- Support policy administration and disciplinary procedures.
- Help plan and organize company events and celebrations.

- Flexibility to work additional hours for special events or deadlines.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the HR Manager.
What You Bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Management, or a related field—or equivalent experience.
- Strong ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving and planning abilities.
- Effective interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively and diplomatically across teams.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word) and Windows-based systems.
