HR Generalist

Join a team where people come first. United Alloy is seeking a proactive and people-focused HR Generalist to serve as a key member of our HR team. In this role, you’ll be the first point of contact for employees and play a vital part in supporting HR operations and cross-functional collaboration. What You’ll Do:

  • Act as a liaison between employees and management to promote communication, job satisfaction, and performance.
  • Partner with department leaders to maintain high levels of employee engagement.
  • Support HR functions including employee relations, benefits administration (STD/LTD, COBRA, FMLA), and unemployment documentation.
  • Maintain and update HRIS systems with accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Assist with onboarding and orientation for new hires.
  • Respond to employee inquiries and provide guidance on policies and procedures.
  • Serve as a backup for attendance tracking and employee notifications.
  • Support policy administration and disciplinary procedures.
  • Help plan and organize company events and celebrations.

  • Flexibility to work additional hours for special events or deadlines.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the HR Manager.

What You Bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Management, or a related field—or equivalent experience.
  • Strong ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving and planning abilities.
  • Effective interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and diplomatically across teams.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word) and Windows-based systems.
