The Town of Millis and Millis Public Schools are seeking a School Human Resources Generalist. This position provides professional and administrative support to the personnel systems for both the Town and the Millis Public Schools. Key responsibilities include assisting with recruitment and onboarding; ensuring compliance with State, Federal, and Local employment laws; administering employee benefit programs; maintaining accurate personnel records; and supporting employees and retirees with a wide range of HR matters. The role also coordinates and manages employee leaves and performs additional related duties as needed.
Required: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business/Public Administration, or a related field or equivalent experience. 2-4 years of experience in human resources. Working knowledge of state and federal employment laws (FMLA, ADA, FLSA, EEO). Experience with recruitment, onboarding, and leave management is required.Must pass CORI/SORI checks in accordance with Town and School requirements.
