Required Education & Experience

- SHRM-CP certification is a plus

Essential Functions
- Track, manage, and ensure compliance with required training, certifications, and continuing education programs (including safety and anti-harassment training)
- Lead recruiting efforts by partnering with managers to understand hiring needs and attract top talent
- Coordinate and facilitate hiring processes including background checks and employment verifications
- Deliver engaging new hire orientations and support employee recognition initiatives
- Support and execute HR programs across compensation, benefits, leave management, performance management, employee relations, and development
- Serve as a trusted resource for employees and managers, handling HR-related inquiries with professionalism and care
- Participate in employee relations matters including disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations
- Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and HR best practices
- Stay current on HR trends, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies
Benefits & Payroll Support:
- Ensure accurate benefits enrollment and eligibility data within HRIS and Employee Navigator systems
- Conduct quality checks on benefits data and assist with reporting and billing processes
- Distribute enrollment materials and support employees with benefit questions and changes
- Assist with open enrollment and ongoing benefits administration
- Process and maintain payroll data including wages, commissions, bonuses, deductions, and time tracking
- Ensure accurate payroll deductions for taxes, benefits, and other withholdings
- Assist with payroll corrections, including reissuing checks or deposits as needed
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support the HR team and organizational success
Required Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of HR experience in a fast-paced environment
- SHRM-CP certification is a plus

Supervisory Responsibility
- This position does not have direct reports
Work Environment
This role operates in a professional office environment within a lively dealership setting. Daily activities include working with computers, phones, and standard office equipment.
Physical Demands
- Extended periods of sitting and computer use
- Frequent movement between sitting and standing
- Repetitive hand and finger use
- Clear verbal communication and active listening
- Occasional bending, filing, and light lifting (5–15 lbs)
Position Type & Hours
- Full-time position
- Occasional evenings and weekends may be required based on business needs
Travel
Some travel may be required between dealership locations or for special events.
