Position Summary

This role provides direct administrative and HR support to assigned job sites, ensuring consistent day-to-day operations and a positive employee experience. The HR Generalist supports TRDI’s Entrepreneurial Operating System (EOS) by assisting with workforce coordination, compliance, and alignment with the organization’s business plan.
The HR Generalist works closely with site leadership, management, and support staff to ensure compliance with Federal, State, and Local regulations. This position focuses on site-level administrative support, HR process execution, and employee support, while maintaining strong internal and external relationships.
This position carries out responsibilities in the following functional areas: recruitment support, onboarding, records management, compliance, employee relations, reporting, training, performance support, policy implementation, and HRIS administration across multiple job sites. A valid driver’s license is required, and the HR Generalist must be able to travel regularly between assigned job sites as needed to provide support.
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, evenings, and holidays as needed.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Recruitment & Hiring Support
- Assist with executing recruiting strategies to support timely hiring needs.
- Coordinate interview scheduling and applicant communication for assigned sites.
- Partner with site leadership to understand staffing needs and workforce gaps.
- Conduct or coordinate background checks and employment eligibility verification.
- Support participation in job fairs and recruiting events.
Onboarding & Site Administration
- Support onboarding processes, including scheduling, documentation, and system entry.
- Complete I-9 verification and E-Verify submissions in compliance with federal requirements.
- Maintain accurate employee data within HRIS systems (UKG) for assigned job sites.
- Assist with offboarding processes and documentation tracking.
- Provide administrative support for employee programs and site-level initiatives.
Compliance & Records Management
- Maintain employee records in accordance with regulatory requirements and company standards.
- Assist with personnel file audits and ensure documentation accuracy and completeness.
- Support communication of HR policies and compliance requirements to site leadership.
- Ensure proper documentation for employment actions, including onboarding, employee relations, and separations.
HR Programs & Policy Support
- Provide guidance to employees and supervisors by sharing approved HR policies and procedures.
- Assist in administering HR programs, including leave management, performance support, and employee relations.
- Support consistent application of policies across assigned job sites.
- Assist with tracking HR activities and generating reports as needed.
Employee Support & Customer Service
- Serve as a primary HR point of contact for employees and supervisors at assigned sites.
- Provide timely, professional support for HR-related questions, concerns, and requests.
- Support employee engagement, morale, and workplace satisfaction initiatives.
- Build and maintain relationships with social service agencies and community partners supporting individuals with disabilities.
Administrative & Operational Site Support
- Provide day-to-day administrative HR support for assigned job sites.
- Assist with scheduling, documentation tracking, and coordination between HR and Operations.
- Support site visits, audits, and reporting activities to ensure operational readiness.
- Track HR-related action items (onboarding, compliance, investigations, follow-ups) and ensure timely completion.
- Act as a liaison between site leadership and HR leadership to communicate needs and updates.
Professional Development & Team Support
- Maintain awareness of HR trends, regulatory changes, and best practices.
- Support HR team members with administrative and operational tasks.
- Contribute to process improvements that enhance efficiency and compliance at the site level.
