Job description:

Join our Human Resources team as a Human Resources Generalist. You will play a pivotal role in supporting our organization's talent management and HR operations. This energetic position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to strategic HR initiatives, streamline HR processes, and foster a positive workplace culture. You will be instrumental in ensuring efficient HR service delivery, maintaining compliance with employment laws, and enhancing employee engagement across the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with talent acquisition activities, including sourcing candidates through ATS (Applicant Tracking System) platforms  and job fairs.
  • Support onboarding and employee orientation programs to ensure new hires integrate smoothly into the company culture.
  • Maintain accurate HR data entry and records management within HRIS (Human Resource Information System) 
  • Aid in employee evaluation processes by gathering performance data and supporting performance management initiatives.
  • Administer benefits programs and benefits documentation, ensuring compliance with applicable laws such as FMLA (Family and Medical Leave Act) and OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration).
  • Contribute to employee relations efforts by assisting with conflict management procedures and communication strategies.
  • Compile EEO and other mandatory reporting.
  • Support HR sourcing efforts through social media management and recruitment marketing to attract top talent.
  • Back up for payroll and benefits administration.

Skills

  • Strong knowledge of human capital management practices, employment & labor law, and affirmative action planning.
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems  for data collection and workforce management.
  • Experience with project management methodologies to coordinate HR initiatives like change management or organization design projects.
  • Excellent communication skills for effective employee relations, training & development sessions, and strategic planning discussions.
  • Familiarity with payroll systems along with benefits administration tools.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with integrity while demonstrating strong organizational skills through data entry and contract management.
  • Knowledge of OSHA regulations and workers' compensation procedures to ensure workplace safety compliance. Job Type: Full-time, may require overtime.

Work Location: In person, travel to all TWG locations (Crowley, Ohio, California) as needed.
