The role of the HR Generalist is to manage and deliver central HR activities while supporting managers, employees, and stakeholders across the organization.
This position acts as the first point of contact for operational HR queries and collaborates with HR Business Partners on key people projects to ensure the efficient execution of HR processes and compliance with policies.
Key Responsibilities
Operational HR Management:
Ensures Accountability, Customer Focus
- Manage HR-related activities for new joiners, leavers, and transfers, including data entry in HR systems.
- Handle operational HR queries related to immigration, pensions, leaves, benefits, and more.
- Support process improvement initiatives led by the HR Business Partner.
Employee Relations and Compliance:
Collaborate, Courage
- Offer guidance on employee relations, compliance, and benefits as needed.
- Handle employment-related inquiries, escalating complex matters to the HR Business Partner.
- Attend and participate in employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.
Recruitment and Talent Support:
Develop Talent, Drives Results
- Manage recruitment activities, including job requisitions, phone screenings, and interview scheduling.
- Assist in implementing best practices for talent acquisition and onboarding.
Stakeholder Engagement and Support:
Business Insight, Action-Oriented
- Act as the primary point of contact for HR questions in the region.
- Work with the HRBP and HR Director to implement best practices and provide field support.
- Travel to stations as required to support local HR activities.
