Job Summary:

The human resource generalist is responsible for performing HR-related duties on a professional level and works closely with senior HR management in supporting facility objectives. This position carries out responsibilities in the following functional areas: employee and labor relations, training, onboarding, policy implementation, recruitment/employment, disability management, workers' compensation and regulatory agencies compliance. This position requires an extremely perceptive person who is capable of relating to individuals at all levels within the organization. The generalist must be sensitive to corporate needs, employee goodwill and the business needs.

The main focus of this job will be handling LOA/Workers Comp.

Required Education and Experience: 

1. A bachelor's degree in HR field and/or business administration and/or related degree and three to five years of HR experience and/or equivalent experience, or a master's degree in HR management and/or business administration and/or related degree and two years of experience in the HR field and/or related experience, or seven years of experience in the HR field and/or related experience 
2. Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint). 

Preferred Education and Experience: 

1. Master’s degree in business administration, human resources or related field 
2. PHR (Professional in Human Resources Certificate) 
3. Human resources experience in the healthcare industry 
4. Labor relations experience
