The Position: The Human Resources Generalist II plays a pivotal role in maintaining a positive, productive, and compliant work environment. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting various HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, addressing workplace conflicts, and ensuring compliance. You will work closely with the leadership team to ensure smooth daily Human Resources activities and contribute to a positive and productive work environment.

Compensation and Benefits:

The pay range we�re offering is $22.00- $25.00 hourly, depending (Based) on experience.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor�s degree in Human Resource Management or related field, or a combination of relevant experience, education, and training.
  • 1-3 Years required of Human Resources Experience
  • Knowledge of HRIS, Excel Spreadsheets, and Word Processing software
  • Working knowledge of labor and related laws (e.g. COBRA, Wage and Hour laws, Fair Labor Standards Act, Equal Employment regulations, OSHA, Workers Compensation, American with Disabilities Act, FMLA, CFRA, etc.).
  • Microsoft Office and Google Suites
  • Strong Typing Skills
  • Understanding of Human Resource principles and relevant federal and state employment regulations
  • Excellent Interpersonal and Customer Service Skills
  • Excellent communication, and decision-making abilities
  • Ability to identify and implement solutions to workflow issues
  • Self-motivated, flexible, and resilient with a strong sense of integrity
  • Ability to build credibility and work effectively with all levels of the organization

Key Responsibilities:

  • Interpret and explain human resources policies, procedures, laws, standards, or regulations to employees and management.
  • Provide consultation to management regarding employee relations
  • Collaborate with management to support performance reviews
  • Skilled in maintaining professionalism, confidentiality, and diplomacy in challenging situations.
  • Administers leaves of absence for Agency employees; receives initial notification from employee or supervisor; obtains appropriate documentation; designates leave (e.g. FMLA/CFRA/PDL, etc.); ensures written documentation/communication with employee regarding leave, disability and benefits information; tracks timeline and communicates with employee and manager as necessary.
  • Oversees workers� compensation claims management for assigned departments: receives/follows-up on initial notification from employee or supervisor; obtains appropriate documentation; communicates with employee, occupational clinic, treating physician, third party administrators, as needed.
  • Submit claims to insurance carriers in a timely manner; maintains communications with injured employee and carrier.
  • Maintain records of personnel transactions: hires, promotions, transfers, performance reviews, terminations, and employee statistics for government reporting
  • Oversee the recruitment, hiring, onboarding, and offboarding of employees.
  • Ensure that all documentation is completed and updated in accordance to Community Care Licensing or Office of Refugee Resettlement policy and regulations
  • Input and maintain personnel information into HR Software and ensure accuracy with employee personnel files
  • Support HR Generalist I as needed
  • Other related duties as assigned
