We are seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Administrator to oversee and manage the full payroll cycle while supporting key HR administrative functions. This role ensures payroll accuracy, regulatory compliance, and timely employee support in a fast-paced, service-driven environment. The Payroll Administrator serves as the Paylocity system administrator and works closely with HR and Operations to maintain accurate payroll, benefits, and compliance records.


Reports to: Director of Human Resources


FLSA Status: Exempt


Key Responsibilities Payroll Administration

  • Process bi-weekly payroll accurately and on schedule using Paylocity
  • Audit timecards for PTO, missed punches, and corrections
  • Manage payroll adjustments including garnishments, retro pay, bonuses, and deductions
  • Maintain payroll records in accordance with company policies and federal and state labor laws
  • Respond to payroll-related inquiries with professionalism and confidentiality
  • Assist with payroll reporting and support internal or external payroll audits

Paylocity System Administration

  • Serve as the primary administrator for the Paylocity system
  • Maintain accurate employee records and payroll configurations
  • Generate payroll and workforce reports as requested by leadership
  • Partner with Paylocity support to troubleshoot system or payroll issues

Benefits Administration

  • Administer employee benefits including enrollments, changes, and terminations
  • Serve as a point of contact for employee benefits inquiries
  • Support open enrollment and employee education initiatives
  • Reconcile monthly benefits invoices and ensure accurate payroll deductions

HR Administrative Support

  • Support recruiting coordination including candidate sourcing, phone screens, and interview scheduling
  • Maintain applicant tracking records and recruitment metrics
  • Coordinate onboarding schedules to ensure a positive new hire experience

Requirements

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of payroll administration experience
  • Minimum 3 years of Paylocity experience required
  • Strong working knowledge of wage and hour laws, FMLA, ADA, OSHA, and payroll compliance
  • Experience administering employee benefits programs
  • Bilingual English and Spanish required to effectively support a multilingual workforce
  • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage confidential information
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
