Location: De Pere, WI 
Salary: $50,000 - $60,000 Base Salary + up to $7,800 Bonus + Benefits 
Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, HSA, Paid Time Off
Job Type: Full-Time, Salaried 
Typical Hours Per Week: 8 AM to 6 PM (Flex); 45 hrs./wk. 
Start Date: ASAP

HR Generalist Description

Our client, a highly respected retailer in Wisconsin, is seeking a motivated and people-oriented HR Generalist to support day-to-day HR operations across several store locations [3–4]. This role is a great fit for someone looking to grow their career in Human Resources while gaining broad, hands-on experience in a fast-paced retail environment. Reporting to the HR Director, you’ll assist with recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, payroll support, and benefits administration—acting as a trusted resource for both store associates and managers. This is an excellent opportunity to build foundational HR skills, make a visible impact, and grow with a stable, people-focused company.

Retail Store Manager Responsibilities

•    Support recruitment and onboarding processes
•    Assist with payroll preparation and timekeeping accuracy
•    Respond to employee questions regarding policies, benefits, and procedures
•    Help address employee relations issues and escalate concerns as needed
•    Coordinate leave requests and workplace accommodations
•    Support training initiatives and employee engagement programs
•    Use HR data to identify trends and recommend improvements
•    Serve as an in-store HR resource during site visits

Retail Store Manager Qualifications

•    2+ years of Human Resources experience required
•    High attention to detail and ability to manage confidential information required
•    Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic HR systems required 
•    Willingness to travel locally and be present on-site as needed
