HR Generalist /Supervisor (Full Cycle Recruiting Exp. Req.) Description

Our client in the manufacturing industry is seeking an HR Generalist / Supervisor to join their team just southwest of Pittsburgh, PA. In this role, you will handle general HR duties and oversee a team of two recruiters in a high-volume hiring environment. This position will initially include hands-on recruitment but will evolve into a more strategic leadership role as the team develops. The ideal candidate will bring strong experience in recruitment and general HR functions, along with the ability to lead, mentor, and improve processes. This is a great opportunity to make a direct impact on hiring strategy and overall HR operations within a collaborative team.

HR Generalist / Supervisor (Full Cycle Recruiting Exp. Req.) Responsibilities

•    Oversee, train, and mentor 2 recruiters supporting high-volume hiring initiatives
•    Manage full cycle recruitment in a manufacturing environment
•    Transition from hands-on recruiting to a more strategic leadership role over time
•    Partner with hiring managers to define job requirements and hiring strategies
•    Attend job fairs and recruiting events to attract qualified candidates
•    Lead and facilitate monthly new hire orientation sessions
•    Play a supporting role in the execution of weekly payroll 
•    Assist with HR functions including open enrollment support and employee engagement 
•    Ensure compliance with hiring laws, regulations, and internal policies
•    Track candidate progress and maintain accurate records within HR systems
•    Provide day-to-day employee support by addressing HR-related questions and concerns
•    Contribute to ongoing HR projects and initiatives as part of a 10-person HR team

HR Generalist / Supervisor (Full Cycle Recruiting Exp. Req.) Qualifications

•    3+ years of general human resources experience is required
•    Full cycle recruitment experience in a high-volume environment is required
•    Experience with HR compliance including I-9, E-Verify, and background checks is required
•    Working knowledge of HR principles, practices, and employment laws is required
•    Ability to work 100% on-site is required
