Spectro Alloys is a leader in aluminum recycling, and we're looking for an energetic, adaptable, and driven HR Generalist - Talent Acquisition Partner to join our growing team. With an exciting new $80 million plant expansion underway, this role offers endless opportunities for growth, creativity, and impact. We’re looking for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and is ready to take on new challenges as the company evolves. If you're looking for a role that’s as fun and flexible as it is impactful, this is the opportunity you’ve been waiting for!

What You’ll Be Doing:
As our HR Generalist, you'll wear many hats and play a key role in managing full-cycle recruitment, talent acquisition, and more. Initially you’ll focus on Talent Acquisition with a sprinkle of Generalist activities. Then, over time as the plant staffing levels off, the role will shift to include more generalist activities. This role will always have a recruitment focus.

From shaping Spectro Alloys as an employer of choice to guiding new hires through onboarding, you’ll be an integral part of our people strategy. In addition to recruitment, you’ll be involved in payroll, benefits, employee relations, and retention efforts. The role will evolve as the company grows, and your ideas and input will directly influence how we move forward!

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Talent Acquisition: Develop and execute recruitment programs to attract top talent for various positions, ensuring a seamless and engaging candidate experience.
  • Collaborative Strategy: Work closely with hiring managers to understand the company’s long-term staffing needs and help develop effective recruiting strategies.
  • Employee Onboarding: Plan and conduct employee orientations, ensuring new hires feel welcome and aligned with our company culture.
  • Employee Relations: Be a go-to resource for employees, resolving everyday HR matters and driving a positive work environment.
  • Payroll and Benefits Management: Administer payroll in Paylocity, manage employee benefits, and keep records up-to-date with accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Engagement and Retention: Develop programs that keep employees engaged, motivated, and excited to work with Spectro Alloys!

What We’re Looking for in You:
The ideal candidate will bring a positive attitudehigh energy, and a passion for HR with a background in talent acquisition in manufacturing. We want someone who is proactive, collaborative, and eager to make a real impact! If you’re adaptable, detail-oriented, and love the fast-paced nature of HR, you’ll thrive in this role.

Desired Traits & Qualifications:

  • Adaptable and Outgoing: A flexible mindset, willing to take on a variety of responsibilities as they evolve.
  • Tech-Savvy: Experience working in Paylocity or similar HRIS systems and the ability to quickly learn new tools and software.
  • Analytical and Detail-Oriented: Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with an ability to multi-task effectively.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Experience: 5+ years in HR or Talent Acquisition, ideally in a manufacturing setting, with expertise in recruiting, retention, and payroll processing.
  • Bonus Points: If you're fluent in Spanish or have a PHR or SHRM-CP certification, we’d love to hear from you!

Why Spectro Alloys?

  • Competitive Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, PTO, Paid Holidays, and more!
