HR Manager

Prestige Staffing Services is seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager for a direct hire salaried opportunity in the Findlay, Ohio area<\/b>.  <\/span><\/span>
<\/p>

The primary responsibilities are talent acquisition, employee relations, working with the Union to maintain a positive working relationship within the facility, labor contracts, investigating and solving problems, coaching salaried staff, and working with corporate staff on system, payroll and benefit issues. <\/span>

Essential Job Functions:<\/span><\/b>

• Conduct interviews<\/span>
  <\/li>
• Maintain salary and hourly employment records.<\/span>
  <\/li>
• Coach hiring managers and department to develop their human resources.<\/span>
  <\/li>
• Salary planning and administration.<\/span>
  <\/li>
• Direct\/support department team members with goals, objectives, developmental requirements and annual reviews.<\/span>
  <\/li>
• Administer labor contract and ensure compliance by other departments.<\/span>
  <\/li>
• Respond to grievances at the 3rd step and advise departments at 1st and 2nd step.<\/span>
  <\/li>
• In conjunction with VP of Human Resources, be the 2nd chair for the contract negotiations. <\/span>
  <\/li>
• Support and comply with Quality, Environmental and 5\-S programs.<\/span>
  <\/li>
• Assist EHS Manager with leadership of Executive Safety Committee.<\/span>
  <\/li>
• Develop and maintain plant rules, procedures and policies.<\/span>
  <\/li>
• Administer appropriate disciplinary action for infraction of rules.<\/span>
  <\/li>
• Approve department purchase orders.<\/span>
  <\/li>
• Develop and administer department budget.<\/span>
  <\/li>
• Ensure compliance with state and federal laws, including ADA, EEOC, and FMLA.<\/span>
  <\/li>
• Manage plant security.<\/span>
  <\/li>
• Work with Plant Manager to improve profitability of plant.<\/span>
  <\/li>
• Assist with professional development & team skills training.<\/span>
  <\/li>
• Support Safety Function as required.<\/span>
  <\/li>
• In conjunction with Benefits Director, understand benefit plans and assist employees as required.<\/span>
  <\/li>
• Schedule hourly vacations\/process hourly vacation pay.<\/span>
  <\/li>
• Administer attendance program.<\/span>
  <\/li>
• Process weekly and bi weekly payroll.<\/span>
  <\/li>
• Schedule weekend overtime.<\/span>
  <\/li>
• Generate weekly shift roster.<\/span>
  <\/li>
• Administer safety glass program.<\/span>
  <\/li>
• EAP referrals.<\/span>
  <\/li>
• Manage the Company\/Plant Employee Fund.<\/span>
  <\/li>
• Process employment verification.<\/span>
  <\/li>
• In conjunction with Corporate Talent Management and Plant Manager, drive the hiring process of salaried employees.<\/span>
  <\/li>
• Coordinate performance evaluation process.<\/span>
  <\/li>
• Generate KOP's and monthly reports<\/span>
  <\/li> <\/ul>

  Qualifications:<\/span><\/b>
  <\/p>

  • A four year degree or equivalent with five or more years of related experience.<\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Labor Relations experience at plant location along with grievance process.<\/span>
