We are seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to lead day‑to‑day HR operations and support a positive, consistent, and compliant employee experience. This role oversees one HR Assistant and works closely with leadership to manage recruiting, onboarding, HRIS administration, employee relations, training, and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support the HR Assistant in recruiting, onboarding, and daily HR operations.
- Oversee job postings, applicant communication, interviews, and pre‑employment requirements.
- Coordinate onboarding, orientation, and new‑hire follow‑up to support retention.
- Manage compliance and professional development training for staff and leadership.
- Maintain and optimize the HRIS (iSolved), ensuring accurate configuration, reporting, and system integrity.
- Provide guidance on HR policies, employee relations, performance documentation, and benefits.
- Ensure compliance with employment laws, maintain HR records, and support payroll, timekeeping, and leave administration.
- Participate in HR projects, process improvements, and campus initiatives.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree with at least 3 years of HR management, supervisory, and HRIS experience OR 5 years of HR management, supervisory, and HRIS experience in lieu of a degree.
- Experience with iSolved or similar HRIS platforms.
- Strong knowledge of HR principles, employment laws, and best practices.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Demonstrated professionalism, integrity, and strong communication skills.
Working Conditions
Office‑based role with regular movement across campus, including walking long distances.
Ability to stand, bend, reach, push, pull, and lift up to 25 pounds.
Required to work extended hours, weekends, scheduled holidays, and campus events as needed.
