As the Human Resource Manager, you will plan, manage, administer, and support the Human Resource practices, policies, and programs that align with the organizational goals. This is a full time, onsite position.
HR Policy, Program & Practice Administration: 100% of the Job
1. Plans, manages, administers, and supports the HR practices, policies, and programs, along with payroll, to create a compliant, equitable environment.
2. Acts as the first point of contact at times for employee questions/obstacles, ensuring effective resolution, and that information is provided to the right management team member as needed.
3. Plans, manages, implements, and coordinates effective recruiting and onboarding processes to onboard and retain top talent, while ensuring employee paperwork is complete and compliant.
4. Coordinates and maintains the performance management programs that will measure and develop team members towards the goals of the business and towards their career goals.
5. Acts as a “Credible Activist” to build relationships of trust and integrity within the teams to ensure engaging, fair, and compliant employee relations practices are administered based on established policies and practices.
6. Plans, manages, implements, and coordinates benefit and wellness activities to enhance employee engagement and the overall long-term productivity.
7. Prepares, coordinates, and maintains employee change forms, employee files, attendance data, disciplinary data, etc. in an accurate, compliant, and confidential way.
8. Manages, administers, and supports worksite safety initiatives including worker compensation claims management compliance to ensure a safe work environment.
9. Coordinates, facilitates, and maintains onsite or offsite training initiatives to ensure continuous talent development and growth.
Education:
A Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Organizational Leadership, or HR; or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
Experience:
3-5+ years of progressive experience within human resources, managing the HR function within a multi-site manufacturing environment.
Certification(s):
SHRM-CP or PHR preferred or willing to obtain.
Skills:
Technology Skills:
Experience with HRIS applications and ability to learn proprietary software required; Proficiency in Microsoft Office products including Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint required.
Language Skills:
Excellent verbal and written skillset; able to present and train team members on new HR policies and communicate with all levels of the organization.

Physical Requirements to Perform Essential Functions
• Ability to sit and operate a motor vehicle as needed for travel in this role.
• Ability to sit at desk for 5+ hours per day
• Ability to operate keyboard and view computer screen for majority of day 6-7 hours
• Ability to write ideas/information in a logical flow for 5+ hours per day
• Ability to read and respond on an on-going basis daily due to nature of the work, throughout the day
• Ability to read, write and speak English fluently
