Are you an HR leader who thrives in a fast-paced, people-first environment? Trans-Bridge Lines, a trusted and established transportation provider in Pennsylvania, is seeking a Human Resources Manager to lead HR operations and company culture.

Location: Bethlehem, PA
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Employment Type: Full-Time | Exempt
Reports To: Vice President


About the Role:

The HR Manager is a hands-on leader and trusted advisor who will oversee all aspects of human resources. You'll guide the HR team, support senior leadership, and manage employee relations, recruitment, compliance, payroll, benefits, and labor relations. This is a critical leadership role with direct influence on organizational decisions.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and develop the HR team and provide guidance to managers across departments
  • Manage full-cycle recruiting, onboarding, and employee engagement strategies
  • Oversee HRIS and payroll operations (iSolved experience a plus)
  • Administer benefits, wellness, and leave programs (FMLA, STD, LOA, etc.)
  • Ensure legal compliance with employment laws and reporting requirements
  • Support DER for DOT drug and alcohol testing
  • Represent the company in union grievances, negotiations, and unemployment hearings
  • Support executive leadership as a member of the management team
  • Foster a culture of inclusion, safety, and continuous improvement

What We're Looking For:

  • Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, or related field (preferred)
  • 10+ years of progressive HR experience, including 3+ years in management
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices
  • Experience working in a unionized environment is a plus
  • Certifications (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP/SCP) preferred
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and conflict-resolution skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HR systems
