Responsibilities:
Oversee talent acquisition and onboarding strategies
Coordinate recruiting, hiring, and onboarding processes
Manage employee relations, investigations, and conflict resolution
Provide guidance to staff and managers on HR issues
Oversee benefits and leave programs administered via our PEO
Payroll processing, including evaluating various compensation packages and strategies
Manage performance review cycles and training logistics
Assist with HRIS systems and reporting
Develop and implement HR policies and firm-wide initiatives
Lead performance management and professional development programs
Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws
Act as a strategic advisor to firm partners and department heads
Qualifications:
B.S. required, M.S. preferred in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, Psychology, Communications or Organizational Behavior
6+ years of progressively responsible HR experience at a professional services firm of 100+ employees
Strong written and verbal clarity for conveying policies and guiding staff
Strong Organizational and decision-making abilities for strategic planning and prioritizing HR functions effectively
Strong analytical and tech proficiency and experience with HRIS systems, data analysis and leveraging HR metrics
Excellent drafting, analytical, and communication skills.
Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple client matters simultaneously.
Preferred:
SHRM-CP/ SHRM-SCP preferred.
This is a full-time in-office position. The candidate will be expected to visit the Rockville Centre, Manhattan and Mt. Kisco locations with some regularity
