DanceOne is a leading live events and dance competition organization operating across the U.S. Our warehouse and production teams are critical to delivering world-class experiences, and we’re looking for a hands-on HR Manager to support our Xenia, OH operations.

This role is ideal for an HR professional who enjoys being close to the business, building strong relationships with leaders, and owning HR execution end-to-end in a fast-paced, operational environment.

The Role

As the HR Manager – Warehouse Operations, you will serve as the primary HR partner for our Xenia warehouse and driver workforce. You’ll balance people leadership, recruiting, employee relations, and operational HR execution, ensuring compliance, consistency, and a great employee experience—while partnering closely with the Chief People Officer on priorities and execution.

Key Responsibilities

HR Business Partnership

  • Act as the primary HR partner to warehouse and operations leaders

  • Build strong, trusted relationships with supervisors and managers

  • Translate business needs into practical HR solutions

  • Support workforce planning and seasonal staffing needs and help create process for PTO, time and attendance and 

Recruiting & Workforce Support

  • Lead recruiting efforts for drivers, warehouse, and operational roles

  • Partner with leaders on job requirements, hiring plans, and timelines

  • Ensure a smooth and compliant onboarding experience

Employee Relations

  • Handle employee relations issues with professionalism, discretion, and urgency

  • Ensure all cases are properly documented, investigated, and resolved on time

  • Partner with leadership to manage performance, corrective actions, and terminations

  • Ensure consistency and fairness in employee treatment

HR Operations & Systems (JIRA-Driven)

  • Own and manage HR workflows through JIRA, including:

    • Onboarding

    • Recruiting requests

    • Offboarding

    • Leave of Absence (LOA)

    • Employee Data Changes

  • Ensure tickets are complete, accurate, and processed within SLAs

  • Maintain HR documentation and compliance standards

Compliance & Safety (Nice to Have)

  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws

  • Partner with operations on workplace safety practices

  • Nice to have: experience with Safety, HSE, or warehouse safety programs

Compensation & Benefits

  • Competitive base salary: $80,000 – $92,000
